DeviantArt has seen better days, and for me the uncontrolled AI flood has been the tipping point, I doubt this place is ever going to improve again, not under this management. I've advertised other's journals about deviantArt alternatives in the past but I thought it can't hurt to review some of them myself, the more the merrier. I'll keep updating this journals as I learn about new online art outlets: side7.com: Old fashioned site that feels alot like old deviantArt in parts. Allows illustrations, photography, literature, and audio submissions. It has some features that got replaced/lost with eclipse, like categories. It lacks the ability to create gallery folders as on dA, but has a portfolio option and 'serial' feature intended for webcomics, chapter-based writing, or any other similar art forms, which you can use as substitute for galleries.
